GEW 2024: BDS Empowers Entrepreneurs in Wukro
The Business Development Services (BDS) team, led by Selamawit Kahsu in Wukro, is celebrating Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) 2024 by empowering local entrepreneurs. The event features a mentorship session designed to inspire and support aspiring and established business owners, many of whom have accessed financing through the SEED program.
The BDS team has been instrumental in providing essential services to entrepreneurs in the region, including business planning, financial management, marketing, and legal advice. By offering tailored support, the team has helped countless individuals transform their ideas into successful ventures.
"We are excited to be part of GEW 2024 and contribute to the global celebration of entrepreneurship," said Selamawit Kahsu, BDS Team Leader for the Eastern Zone. "Our goal is to create a thriving entrepreneurial ecosystem in Wukro, and we believe that by providing the necessary tools and resources, we can help our clients reach their full potential."
During GEW 2024, the BDS team hosted a mentorship session, providing one-on-one meetings with entrepreneurs to offer guidance and advice. The focus of these sessions was on the effective utilization of loans and the expected impact on businesses. The team also provided direction on key areas to prioritize for optimal business growth.
By participating in GEW 2024, the BDS team is not only celebrating entrepreneurship but also reaffirming its commitment to the long-term development of the Wukro community.
