GEW-2024: EDI Empowers 180 Women Entrepreneurs in Shire

The Entrepreneurship Development Institute (EDI) recently conducted a training to its Women Entrepreneurs Development Project (WEDP) women and to enhance their financial access. As part of the Global Entrepreneurship Week celebrations, approximately 180 women in Shire, Tigray, participated in a comprehensive entrepreneurship training program.
The training aimed to equip women with essential entrepreneurial skills, including financial literacy, marketing strategies, and operational efficiency. By empowering women to manage their businesses effectively, the program seeks to foster a culture of entrepreneurship and contribute to the region's economic development.
The training also provided a platform for women to network and collaborate, creating a supportive community. Through the EDI-WEDP continues to demonstrate its commitment to gender equality and women's empowerment.
This initiative aligns with global efforts to support women's economic participation and leadership, making a significant impact on the lives of the participants and their communities.
