GEW-2024: EDI-Ethiopia Empowers Entrepreneurs in Mekoni Town
EDI-Ethiopia Tigray Regional Office is hosting a customized entrepreneurship training program for 160 aspiring and existing entrepreneurs in Mekoni Town from November 26th to 30th, 2024. This training is part of the Global Entrepreneurship Week celebrations and aims to empower entrepreneurs and boost economic growth in the region.
The customized training program is designed to meet the specific needs of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Mekoni Town. Participants will receive comprehensive training on a range of topics, including business planning, financial management, marketing, and customer service.
The Economic Sector Coordinator of Mekoni Town emphasized the importance of empowering young entrepreneurs through improved access to finance, training, and mentorship. The coordinator expressed gratitude to EDI-Ethiopia for organizing this specialized training in Mekoni Town.
By providing targeted training and support, EDI-Ethiopia is empowering entrepreneurs to start and grow their businesses, create jobs, and contribute to the economic development of Mekoni Town.
