GEW-2024: Empowering Women Entrepreneurs in Business Development Services.
EDI-Ethiopia’s Tigray Regional Office, in partnership with Negste Saba Savings and Credit Cooperative, has successfully empowered 22 women entrepreneurs in Mekelle through Business Development Services (BDS) as part of the Global Entrepreneurship Week 2024 celebrations.
This initiative highlights EDI-Ethiopia’s dedication to empowering women entrepreneurs by providing them with the essential tools and knowledge to overcome obstacles and achieve sustainable business growth.
The BDS services offered include:
• Business Formalization and Licensing: Comprehensive guidance on registering and licensing businesses.
• Access to Finance: Expert advice on preparing loan applications and improving creditworthiness.
EDI-Ethiopia remains committed to supporting women entrepreneurs in the region through various ongoing programs designed to foster economic empowerment and development.
