GEW 2024: Sparking Hope through Entrepreneurship in Quiha Sub-city

As part of the ongoing Global Entrepreneurship Week #GEW2024Ethiopia celebrations, the 5th round of Entrepreneurship and Business Management Skill (EBMS) training is currently underway in Quiha Town. This four-day intensive training program, which commenced on November 23rd and will conclude on November 26th, 2024, aims to empower the local youth with essential entrepreneurial skills and a renewed sense of hope.
The training, conducted by the dedicated EDI team, has already made a significant impact on the participants. Initially, many of the young individuals expressed feelings of despair and hopelessness, a reflection of the challenging post-war crisis. However, as the training progressed, a remarkable transformation began to unfold. The introduction training modules and a unique training approach ignited a spark of creativity and ambition among the participants.
By the second day, numerous participants had already developed innovative business ideas, demonstrating the power of the training to unlock their potential. This surge of entrepreneurial spirit is exactly what the organizers had hoped to achieve: to instill hope, foster a growth mindset, and equip the youth with the tools they need to succeed.
The success of this training initiative has not only inspired the participants but has also motivated other young people in the community. Many have expressed interest in future training opportunities and have sought guidance on how to register for upcoming programs.
The EDI team's unwavering dedication and compassionate approach have been instrumental in the success of this training. By combining inspiration, motivation, and empathy, they have created a supportive and empowering learning environment.
As GEW 2024 continues, the impact of this training program in Quiha sub-city serves as a testament to the power of entrepreneurship to transform lives and communities.
