A Half day Youth Entrepreneurship Training (YET) is conducted on November 29, 2024 at Hawassa Polytechnic College in Sidama Region, Hawassa city. Youth Entrepreneurship Training (YET) is a training program that helps young people develop the skills and knowledge they need to start and grow their own businesses. It can include topics such as: Business planning, Marketing, Financial management, Accounting and financial literacy, Strategic planning, Idea generation, Opportunity identification, and Soft skills.
The training was intended for Hawassa polytechnic students from second to fourth year. A total of 187 participants, including 75 females and 112 males have taken part in the training.
