Haramaya Polytechnic College commemorated Global Entrepreneurship Week by hosting a memorable event

On November 28, 2024, Haramaya Polytechnic College commemorated Global Entrepreneurship Week by hosting an event that brought together 304 trainees, trainers, and administrative personnel. Trainers from the Entrepreneurship Development Institute (EDI-Ethiopia), Mr. Tofik and Mr. Ibrahim, provided valuable insights on the significance of dedication and skill enhancement in achieving entrepreneurial success, sharing inspiring stories of individuals who have successfully increased their capital from 25,000 Birr to 5 million Birr. An alumnus of the college recounted his entrepreneurial journey, highlighting his role in job creation and his current status as a business owner. 

The concluding session underscored the necessity of collaboration between the College and EDI-Ethiopia, with a focus on ongoing efforts to bolster entrepreneurial initiatives within the institution.
