Jinka celebrated Global Entrepreneurship Week #GEW2024Ethiopia with a panel discussion
On November 18, Jinka celebrated Global Entrepreneurship Week #GEW2024Ethiopia with a panel discussion on challenges and opportunities for young entrepreneurs, bringing together stakeholders from the city administration and various institutions. Hosted by Jinka Polytechnic College, the event featured opening remarks from Dean Mr. Kassahun who emphasized integrating hard work with an entrepreneurial mindset and highlighted support from the Ethiopian Development Initiative (EDI), which impacts 100 TVET institutions, including JPTC.
Key discussions focused on improving training follow-up, enhancing access to credit, diversifying youth ventures, addressing overlaps in training programs, and strengthening sustainable support through Business Development Services (BDS).
