From November 23 to November 26, 2024, an Entrepreneurship Business Management Skills (EBMS) training was held in Deka Town

From November 23 to November 26, 2024, an Entrepreneurship Business Management Skills (EBMS) training was held in Deka Town, Gesha Woreda, South West Ethiopia. The training aimed to strengthen participants' entrepreneurial capabilities and business management skills, equipping them to face entrepreneurial challenges and contribute to local economic growth.

A total of 41 participants attended the training, including 38 males and 3 females. All participants were Technical and Vocational Training (TVT) students, eager to gain practical knowledge and skills in business management.

The training began with an opening speech by Mr. Mathewos, the College Dean, who emphasized the vital role of entrepreneurship in driving economic development and creating job opportunities. He encouraged participants to make the most of the training, which would help build the skills necessary for success in their future business ventures.

Throughout the training, participants actively engaged in group activities and practical exercises that allowed them to apply the concepts learned. These hands-on sessions fostered collaboration and critical thinking, with students demonstrating high levels of enthusiasm and commitment. While female participation was low, the contributions from the female participants were valuable, adding diverse perspectives to the discussions.

Overall, the training was successful in equipping the participants with the necessary skills and knowledge to pursue entrepreneurial endeavors and contribute to the economic development of their communities.
