From November 23th to November 26th, 2024 an Entrepreneurship Business Management Skills (EBMS) training was conducted in Deka Town

From November 23th to November 26th, 2024 an Entrepreneurship Business Management Skills (EBMS) training was conducted in Deka Town, Gesha Woreda, South West Ethiopia. The training aimed to enhance entrepreneurial capabilities and business management skills among the participants, equipping them to navigate the challenges of entrepreneurship and contribute to economic growth in their communities.

A total of 41 participants attended the training, consisting of 38 males and 3 females. All participants were Technical and Vocational Training (TVT) students eager to acquire practical knowledge and skills in business management.

The training commenced with an opening speech by Mr. Mathewos, the College Dean. In his address, Mr. Mathewos highlighted the significance of entrepreneurship as a driver of economic development and job creation. He encouraged participants to actively engage in the sessions and use the opportunity to build skills that would position them for success in their future ventures.

Participants demonstrated high levels of enthusiasm and active engagement throughout the training. Group activities and practical exercises allowed them to apply the concepts learned, fostering collaboration and critical thinking. Despite the low representation of female participants, their contributions were significant, and their unique perspectives enriched the discussions.
