From November 25–28, 2024 a four-day Entrepreneurship Business Management Skills (EBMS) training was conducted in Konda Town, Gewata Woreda

From November 25–28, 2024, a four-day Entrepreneurship Business Management Skills (EBMS) training was conducted in Konda Town, Gewata Woreda, South West Ethiopia. This program was designed to equip 46 participants—26 males and 20 females, all Technical and Vocational Training (TVT) students—with practical business management and entrepreneurial skills to drive local economic growth.

The training commenced with an opening speech by the Enterprise Office Head, supported by experts from the Communication Bureau, who emphasized the transformative role of entrepreneurship in addressing unemployment and fostering economic development. They encouraged participants to fully engage in the sessions and leverage the training to enhance their business acumen and entrepreneurial potential.

The program’s balanced gender participation and high level of student engagement highlighted the increasing recognition of entrepreneurship as a viable pathway to self-reliance and community development. By fostering entrepreneurial capacity among youth, the training laid the groundwork for sustainable economic contributions in South West Ethiopia.
