A panel discussion in celebration of the Global Entrepreneurship Week #GEW2024Ethiopia in Hossanna
A panel discussion in celebration of the Global Entrepreneurship Week #GEW2024Ethiopia was held in Hossanna on November 19, 2023 marking the conclusion of the Entrepreneurship Training Workshop (ETW) which was conducted 6 days. The panel included Mr. Fantahun Lirenso, Hadiya Zone Enterprise Leader; Mr. Tariku Teketel, Deputy Mayor of Hossanna and City Enterprise and Job Creation Officer; Mr. Delayehu Abate, Vice Dean of Hossanna Polytechnic; and Mr. Tesfaye, Head of the Hadiya Zone TVET Department.
The leaders congratulated participants who successfully completed the ETW, EMPRETEC TOT, and EBMS TOT, emphasizing the importance of sustainable job creation through skill-oriented programs like ETW. They reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening the local entrepreneurship and innovation ecosystem. The event concluded with the awarding of certificates to participants, underscoring the significance of entrepreneurship during the GEW celebrations.
