Public Entrepreneurship and Innovation Ecosystem Building was hosted in the heart of Jigjiga city,
In the heart of Jigjiga city, within the Somali Regional State, a training session titled "Public Entrepreneurship and Innovation Ecosystem Building" was hosted from November 26 to 28, 2024. In collaboration with EDI Ethiopia and the Somali Regional State Skills and Job Creation Bureau, the event was started by Mr. Mahdi Tahir Barkadele, Deputy Head of the SRS Skills and Job Creation Bureau.
Attended by 43 attendees including Skill and Job Creation Directors, Regional Investment Bureau Leaders, and Polytechnic College Leaders, the training focuses on fostering entrepreneurship and innovation within the public sector. Participants are set to receive certificates of participation and stand the chance to be honored with awards from EDI for exceptional value creation initiatives.
