A two-day Customized Entrepreneurship Training Workshop (CETW) launched by Mr. Mesay, Dean of Hawassa Tegbared PTC.

From November 14 to 15, 2024, a two-day Customized Entrepreneurship Training Workshop (CETW) was conducted at Hawassa Tegbared Polytechnic College for 34 participants (19 males and 15 females), primarily freshman students and young individuals looking to start or enhance their businesses. The program was launched by Mr. Mesay, Dean of the college, and was supported by EDI Ethiopia, the SEED Project, and Hawassa Tegbared PTC.

The training aimed to inspire and motivate participants to view entrepreneurship as a viable career option, equipping them with essential skills for business startups. The program focused on core entrepreneurial competencies such as idea generation, opportunity identification, and business planning. Through engaging sessions, participants were encouraged to explore self-employment opportunities and understand entrepreneurship's potential as both a career path and a means of creating meaningful impact.

The training was deemed highly successful, as participants reported increased motivation and a revived entrepreneurial spirit. The professional delivery by the facilitators fostered confidence among attendees, inspiring them to unlock their future potential through business establishment and employment opportunities. This impactful workshop highlighted the transformative power of entrepreneurship training in empowering youth from diverse backgrounds.
