A two-day Customized Entrepreneurship Training Workshop (CETW) was conducted at Hawassa University

A two-day Customized Entrepreneurship Training Workshop (CETW) was conducted at Hawassa University Awada Campus from November 18–19, 2024. The training engaged 52 participants (36 males and 16 females), primarily graduating students aspiring to start or enhance their businesses. The program was inaugurated by Dr. Melese, Dean of the College.

Objective
The CETW aimed to inspire and equip participants with an entrepreneurial mindset, encouraging them to view entrepreneurship as a viable career option. Key topics covered included idea generation, opportunity identification, and business planning. The program provided practical insights and exercises designed to help participants develop foundational skills for launching and managing their businesses.

Impact
The training successfully motivated participants to explore self-employment as a career path while also enhancing their potential for wage employment. Facilitators delivered the sessions with professionalism, inspiring attendees to pursue their entrepreneurial goals. The program significantly boosted participants’ confidence and reignited their entrepreneurial spirit, fostering a strong sense of purpose and enthusiasm among a diverse group of future entrepreneurs.
