The Women Entrepreneurship Training (WET) at Hasho Elementary School in Hasho Town

The Women Entrepreneurship Training (WET) took place on November 27th and 28th, 2024, at Hasho Elementary School in Hasho Town, Gesha Woreda, Kaffa Zone, South West Ethiopia. The training brought together 30 women entrepreneurs from the local community, with the aim of equipping them with key entrepreneurial competencies to help them enhance their business ventures and contribute to the socio-economic growth of the region.

The training was structured over two days, with each day focusing on essential entrepreneurial skills. A key emphasis was placed on building self-confidence and initiative, highlighting the importance of self-belief and taking proactive steps in business development. Participants were encouraged to recognize and seize opportunities, overcome challenges, and confidently lead their businesses.

The Women Entrepreneurship Training in Hasho Town proved to be a highly successful program, providing valuable knowledge and skills to local women entrepreneurs. By focusing on building essential entrepreneurial competencies, the training empowered participants to strengthen their businesses and make meaningful contributions to the socio-economic development of their community.

This initiative marked a significant step toward fostering greater inclusion and empowering women in entrepreneurship in the South West Ethiopia region, supporting the growth of women-led businesses and promoting gender equality in the local economy.
