The Women Entrepreneurship Training (WET) took place on November 27th and 28th, 2024, at the Hasho Elementary School in Hasho Town, Gesha Woreda, Kaffa Zone, South West Ethiopia. The training was attended by 30 women entrepreneurs from the local community, aimed at equipping them with vital entrepreneurial competencies to enhance their business ventures and contribute to the socio-economic growth of their region.

The training was structured over two days, with each day focusing on specific entrepreneurial competencies critical for women in business and building Self-Confidence and Initiative emphasizing the importance of self-belief and taking proactive steps in business development. 

The Women Entrepreneurship Training in Hasho Town was a successful program that provided valuable knowledge and skills to local women entrepreneurs. By focusing on building essential entrepreneurial competencies, the training empowered participants to enhance their businesses and contribute to the socio-economic development of their community. The initiative was a significant step towards fostering greater inclusion and empowering women in entrepreneurship in the South West Ethiopia region.
