The Women Entrepreneurship Training (WET) was conducted from November 27–28, 2024, at the Deka Town Administration Office Meeting Hall in Gesha Woreda, Kaffa Zone, South West Ethiopia. Designed to empower women entrepreneurs, the program focused on enhancing essential entrepreneurial skills and fostering the competencies needed for business growth and sustainability. A total of 37 women participated, gaining practical insights and tools to advance their enterprises and contribute to local economic development.

The training emphasized building confidence, initiative, and resilience, with interactive sessions that engaged participants in applying real-world solutions to entrepreneurial challenges. Participants noted feeling more empowered and prepared to take actionable steps in growing their businesses, demonstrating the training's impact in fostering self-reliance and proactive thinking.

This initiative represents a significant stride in promoting the economic empowerment of women in the Kaffa Zone, aligning with broader goals of community development and sustainable economic growth. It provided participants with renewed motivation and practical skills to navigate the entrepreneurial landscape successfully.
