The Women Entrepreneurship Training (WET) was conducted from November 27th to November 28th, 2024 at the Wodo Municipality Meeting Hall in Wodo Town, Gesha Woreda, Kaffa Zone, South West Ethiopia. This two-day training event brought together 60 women entrepreneurs from the region, aiming to strengthen their business skills and competencies to improve their ventures. The program focused on developing the ten key entrepreneurial competencies exhibited by successful entrepreneurs and covered vital aspects such as self-confidence and taking personal initiative.

The training was designed to provide practical insights, empowering participants with the knowledge and tools necessary to overcome business challenges, drive growth, and contribute to the socio-economic development of their community.

The Women Entrepreneurship Training in Wodo Town was a significant step toward empowering women entrepreneurs in Gesha Woreda, Kaffa Zone. By focusing on key entrepreneurial competencies, self-confidence, and practical strategies for overcoming business challenges, the training provided participants with the skills and knowledge to enhance their business ventures.
