2025 RU Innovative Challenge
Join us for the 2025 RU Innovative Challenge and bring your idea to life!
The RU Innovative Challenge is a fast-paced competition for students in the first year entrepreneurship experience class. Student teams are challenged to build a business around one of the United Nations Sustainable Development goals and create a poster board touching on key points of the business model canvas. Ideas are then provided feedback by a rotating panel of judges. The RU Innovative Challenge will be held on Friday, November 21st, from 10:30am-3:30pm in the Business Hall Hub.
Students are required to be checked in by 10:30am. Upon check in, students will receive their randomized team assignment. At 10:30am, students will be provided with the prompt centered around the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. Students will have four hours to develop a business idea and create a poster touching on major points from the business model canvas. From 2:30pm - 3:30pm, a rotating panel of judges will be reviewing student pitches and will provide feedback and a score.
IMPORTANT: Students must be in the first year entrepreneurship experience class (ENT 06110) to participate.
