SheSpeaks: Stories, Struggles & Strengths of Young Women Entrepreneurs

Overview:
SheSpeaks is a global online event that celebrates and supports young women entrepreneurs who are making a difference in society. Hosted by the Uddog o Uddokta Japan Association for Women’s Entrepreneurship Day on November 19, 2025, this session gives emerging women leaders a chance to share their stories, including the challenges they face, their successes, and their goals. The event also encourages open discussion about the opportunities, barriers, and support systems that affect women-led businesses today, helping to inspire, connect, and bring together participants from around the world.

Objectives:

  • To showcase the experiences and impact of young women entrepreneurs across diverse sectors and regions.
  • To provide a platform for sharing lessons, challenges, and aspirations.
  • To encourage peer learning and solidarity among women entrepreneurs globally.
  • To identify areas where institutions, networks, and communities can provide better support for women-led businesses.

Format:
The 90-minute interactive webinar will feature:

  • Opening remarks and a brief keynote address by a senior leader or successful woman entrepreneur.
  • Storytelling session where 3–4 young women entrepreneurs share their journeys in 5-minute spotlight talks.
  • Panel discussion and audience Q&A focused on the realities of entrepreneurship, including access to finance, mentorship, and market opportunities.
  • Reflections and closing remarks summarizing key insights and takeaways.
