Tashkent, Uzbekistan – Beautify.uz, a startup that helps make-up artists become visible online, attract new clients and earn more by reducing unpaid labor hours with a platform that is both a showcase and a booking, captured first prize at the national finals of the Entrepreneurship World Cup competition held recently in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
Nigora Akilova, founder of Beautify.uz, captured $50 000 and advances to the next round of the global competition against national winners from 200 countries.

In preparation for the EWC Global Finals, Nigora Akilova will participate in a Bootcamp which features virtual training and mentoring sessions targeted to their company’s current stage and growth trajectory.
Beautify.uz emerged victorious from a pool of 12 contestants who applied – each receiving access to free virtual training services and up to $25,000 in perks to help them take their venture to the next level.
As a Global Finalist, Beautify.uz will compete for a share of USD 1 million in cash prizes. The top 100 Global Finalists will receive $100,000 worth of in-kind services and support from service providers such as AWS, Freshworks, Oracle, Hubspot, Stripe and Segment.
Global finalists also gain automatic entry into the GEN Starters Club, an invitation-only community of talented founders from around the world.

- ASSISTANT BUSINESS MARKET LLC from Tashkent, a startup that automates accounting and services companies, which makes complex accounting understandable for business owners.
- Kale from Moscow, a startup that is a virtual buddy that cares about mental well-being of employees
- MyDars from Tashkent, a startup that is an educational online platform, which allows students and tutors from different parts of the world to find each other and study online.
- SLONDON.UZ from Tashkent, a startup that is a universal platform where everyone can buy or sell personal items or put them up for auction.
- AgroW from Tashkent, a startup that is a marketplace for the turnover of fruits, vegetables and agricultural products
- RESTTAB from Tashkent, a startup that creates an opportunity to save time, money, engine and other resources by providing online booking services to order a table, seat, doctor appointment, beauty master and what not. RESTTAB also motivates people to reduce the spread of viruses by providing online services.
- Digital SAAS from Tashkent a startup through which platform, high-precision analytics and calculations are provided. Their goal is to systematize the marketing sphere.
- arzon arenda from Tashkent, a startup that allows the renting of an apartment or car in two clicks.
- Where to go from Tashkent, a startup that helps to find a place where you can go in your free time, for example to events, concerts and so on.
- MEDBOX from Tashkent, a startup aimed at creating a unified healthcare system in the country.
- TOPX.UZ from Tashkent, a startup that is a service marketplace that matches consumers with local professionals. A customer can simply post job details and our system finds relevant professionals instantly.

The EWC Uzbekistan National Finals were organized by IT-Park Uzbekistan in partnership with Aloqaventures.
Since launching in 2019, the competition has attracted 400,000 registrations from 200 countries and connected founders with over US $3M in cash prizes and another US$256M worth of perks and free support and services.
Global Finalists will face off against one another in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia in March2023. EWC is a ninitiative led by the Global Entrepreneurship Network and Monsha’at, with support from a collection of national and global partners including One Valley, The Global Education and Leadership Foundation(tGELF), Entrepreneurs’ Organization, KAUST and Startup Genome.
