Fishbowl: Digital Technology

Digital technology is playing an increasingly important role in our social, cultural, environmental and economic wellbeing. We have huge opportunities as a region to use technology to our advantage. But significant challenges remain including digital inclusion, workforce development, digital infrastructure and more. How might we design a better local digital technology eco system in Tairāwhiti for tomorrow?

For Global Entrepreneurship Week, Tāiki e! is partnering with Orawa Tairāwhiti to host Fishbowl, an open event for anyone that is interested in talking about digital technology in Tairāwhiti.

Fishbowl is a group discussion method with an inner circle panel of speakers, with outside chairs around it. One chair is left empty so that people from the outer circle can join the discussion - as one enters, one must leave, this enabling a participatory group discussion.

We’ve pulled together some hot topics to discuss, debate and more importantly to help foster some deep conversations so that we may learn from each other.
