United Social Ventures is a nonprofit venture builder for innovative social startups at the start of their journeys. Our vision is for anyone to be able to lead impact at scale through their startup. So, we train and consult with young entrepreneurs to guide their startups across the ‘pioneer gap’ to success. At the heart of this is our unique 123 step “Design. Build. Grow.” methodology - where each step has a corresponding tool to be completed either by an entrepreneur in a USV training, or by USV working directly with the entrepreneur. At 6 stages in their development, entrepreneurs are also added to a dealbook and assisted with raising funds. Our model is unique in offering entrepreneurs affordable, high-quality BDS from the pre-ideation phase and continuous, relatable support through setbacks until they have established a profitable business and generated sizable funding. We currently have a network of over 150 ventures, who we’ve helped to raise over $1.3M. We believe that in the next decade we will be able to extend this model globally to tens-of-thousands of changemakers.
