GEN Uganda is the national affiliate of the Global Entrepreneurship Network (GEN), which operates a year-round platform of programs and initiatives in 200 countries aimed at helping people to unleash their ideas and turn them into promising new ventures—creating jobs, accelerating innovation and strengthening economic stability around the world.
GEN Uganda supports Uganda's entrepreneurship ecosystem by working across the country to inspire, support and empower entrepreneurs and aspiring entrepreneurs. It celebrates entrepreneurs by implementing the annual Global Entrepreneurship Week campaign in Uganda and supports and connects entrepreneurs, and those who support them, through it is ongoing programming, which includes masterclasses, seminars and workshops.
