Digital Marketing and Entrepreneurship

The aim of this course is to enable participants from a variety of backgrounds to understand how to develop and operationalize a digital marketing plan for new ventures. The skills and knowledge learnt will enable a student to identify which digital marketing techniques and theories are most suitable for new ventures, no matter whether they are a new business or within an existing organization.

Digital marketing is an extremely important part of the way we advertise today. Digital marketing is extremely important for entrepreneurs and startup. Every entrepreneur needs to understand digital marketing. We will discuss Importance of Digital Marketing for Entrepreneurs and Startups.

Mostly Internet driven, digital marketing allows businesses to reach a much larger audience. Digital marketing comes in many forms including mobile phones, display advertising, social media, and other such digital mediums. The ease, low cost and convenience of digital marketing makes it extremely favorable to all entrepreneurs and business owners.

Objectives: On completion of this course, participants should be able to; Learn the role of digital channels in an integrated marketing campaign and why they you need a digital strategy. They will have information about main channels of digital marketing (Social Media, Digital Display, Email marketing, Website etc.) and the importance each channel have on helping new and existing ventures to grow. They will be able to use two or three Social Media channels to help grow their business. They will know marketing analytics and practical application by demystifying the use of data in marketing.
