Unlocking Capital: Perspectives from the United States

Due to it's proximity to Latin America and the Caribbean, the United States has been the closest reference when it comes to funding innovative startups. In this session attendees will get the opportunity to hear from firms that are fueling the growth of Latino and Caribbean founded startups.

Speakers include Pete Amaro from L'attitude, who serves as the managing partner of L’ATTITUDE Ventures, a $100M+ institutional venture capital platform invested exclusively in early-stage innovative companies primarily owned and led by U.S. Latinos. Elisa Sepulveda, partner at Angel Ventures US Fund, funding the future of cross border commerce David Olivencia, CEO of Angeles Inversionistas, represents the fastest-growing angel network in the US focused on investing in Latino startups. David Mullings, founder of Blue Mahoe Capital, the first US-based company to get a Reg CF offering qualified by the SEC to raise from the Caribbean Diaspora and invest capital back into the Caribbean.
