Who Should Attend GEC+?

GEC+Puerto Rico is open to everyone engaged with - or interested in exploring - the entrepreneurship ecosystem across Latin America and the Caribbean. Here's a snapshot of who will be there:

Entrepreneurs

• Founders actively engaged in building and strengthening the environment in which they do business. While many entrepreneurship events are built for founders looking to promote their startups, GEC+ attracts founders dedicated to collaborating with other ecosystem stakeholders to maximize impact.

Government / Policymakers

• Government agencies and individuals responsible for leading efforts to strengthen the policy environment for entrepreneurs. 

Investors

• Investors working to identify and nurture promising startups so that they can scale across Latin America and globally. 

Ecosystem Leaders

• Entrepreneurial support organizations and individuals working to strengthen ecosystems that fuel founder success. 

Researchers / Academics

• Entities conducting entrepreneurial research and gathering data about ecosystems. 

Media

• Journalists covering the economy, entrepreneurship, business, startups, and related topics.

Corporate Leaders

• Established companies prominently active in the startup or entrepreneurship space. These are companies that offer substantive programs to engage with and provide direct support to entrepreneurs.

*The official language of the congress will be English. Simultaneous translation services will be available in Spanish and several other languages based upon demand for the plenary sessions only.
