At the heart of entrepreneurship lies the pursuit of opportunity amidst adversity - a journey that historically marginalized communities know all too well. Entrepreneurial qualities such as innovation, resilience and determination are abundant among the underserved. So how do we create inclusive ecosystems where everyone - including historically marginalized communities -  can pursue entrepreneurial ambitions and contribute to local economies?

Join us to explore pathways to unlock this potential, uplift communities and cultivate a more inclusive and equitable society. We will dive into the unique challenges and opportunities facing underserved communities and equip practitioners working in this space with insights and tools needed to make a meaningful impact.

Attendees will:

  • Participate in interactive discussions, case studies and  practical exercises to understand socio-economic dynamics and learn effective strategies for engaging and supporting aspiring entrepreneurs from underserved backgrounds.
  • Explore topics including community needs assessment, culturally sensitive outreach, resource mobilization, and sustainable business development.
  • Share experiences and best practices, fostering collaboration and collective learning.
