GEN Academy: Integrating Sustainability into Your Business Model

Note: This workshop will be conducted in English. Sign up here to secure a seat. Certificates of participation will be issued by Echar Pa'lante

Echar Pa'lante, in collaboration with the Thunderbird School of Global Management, brings to you a workshop designed for entrepreneurs in Latin America and the Caribbean who are eager to integrate sustainability into their business model.

Echar Pa'lante, in collaboration with the Georgia Institute of Technology's Effective Team Dynamics Initiative (ETD), brings to you an opportunity to learn hands-on how to positively reshape team experiences through research-driven methods and a strengths-based approach.

Latin America and the Caribbean are highly vulnerable to the effects of climate change, with hurricanes, rising sea levels, and escalating temperatures threatening local livelihoods. Social challenges also pervade, with poverty, inequality, and limited access to essential services like education and healthcare compounding these vulnerabilities. How can entrepreneurs support climate and social resilience across the region?

By embracing sustainability as a guiding principle, entrepreneurs can adopt practices that minimize environmental impact, and promote inclusive growth strategies that benefit local communities. Sustainable enterprises also build economic resilience by creating business value through innovation, enhanced reputation, and cost savings.

Attendees will:

  • Explore the essentials of sustainable entrepreneurship
  • Explore innovative strategies for reducing environmental impact
  • Gain insights into the economic benefits of sustainable practices
  • Channel efforts to build community resilience
