The Global Entrepreneurship Network (GEN) and the Thunderbird School of Management at Arizona today signed a memorandum of understanding to work together to promote global entrepreneurship, ecosystem development and global management education, research, and other related activities.
The MoU builds on a pre-existing partnership that started in November 2021, when the Thunderbird School of Global Management hosted the official opening ceremony for Global Entrepreneurship Week. The MoU was signed at the Global Entrepreneurship Congress, a gathering of startup champions working together to build one global entrepreneurship ecosystem through a shared engine of innovation and economic growth in cities and countries everywhere.
The MoU comes as Thunderbird launches its 100 Million Learners Global Initiative, which will offer accredited world-class education in 40 different languages to learners across the globe, at no cost to the learner. Women and young women will account for 70% of the 100 million learners that the program will reach.

Speaking on stage at the Global Entrepreneurship Congress, Jonathan Ortmans, President of the Global Entrepreneurship Network, said: "We could not be more proud of our collaboration with Thunderbird. We have a shared mission to empower entrepreneurs everywhere and look forward to working together on this new ambitious initiative."
