Get In the Ring –  Mogadishu

Get in the Ring is a global startup competition active in over 220 cities that gives opportunities to unconventional solutions in all corners of the world, to prove their solutions and solve 21st-century challenges. It is also the most fun and engaging podium for startups to make valuable connections, exposure and networking.

This year, Shaqodoon will organize a live battle between six innovative entrepreneurs from various startups in Mogadishu using a boxing ring in front of a large audience from various sectors to compete for exposure. Experienced jurry will charge the competing startups using set criteria during the matching competition between startups. Ther winner of the competition will be selected as a national final startup that attends the upcoming annual “Global Meetups”, the final Get in the Ring for the Global Startup Competition that gathers the best global startups' national finals at the grandest showcase of unconventional solutions for the Global Meetup. During the Global Meetups, founders from all corners of the world come together, make business deals with corporates and investors and battle for the title of Global Winner at the Global Final.
