Entrepreneurship Summit: Action Plan Entrepreneurship Education
GEN Austria - IFTE
At this year's Entrepreneurship Summit, the Action Plan Entrepreneurship Education was presented. It is to be implemented from 2020 - 2025 and is based on a cooperation between the ministries and 65 other stakeholders. Aim of the action plan:
Introduce entrepreneurship education as a "young talent programme" for the future shapers of a sustainable society and economy on a nationwide basis.

The promotion and strengthening of Entrepreneurship Education has been one of the central political objectives of the European Union and its Member States for many years. Entrepreneurship Education can strengthen the self-efficacy of pupils, students and trainees, teach them to participate in society and thus contribute to equal opportunities. "In the field of education and training, the aim is to promote the continuous development of professional expertise and interdisciplinary skills, to strengthen independent and autonomous action and to enable people to deal with uncertainty and to solve problems in a structured way. For this reason, it is important to me that entrepreneurship competences are anchored at all levels of education and training," says Education of Education Heinz Faßmann.
