#GEWUK2022 Sustainability and Innovation Roundtable

As COP27 comes to end, the conversations go on about sustainability and our role in an ensuring a sustainable future for our planet. Entrepreneurs have a responsibility for ensuring that decisions are made with people and the planet in mind by looking at sustainable supply chain management and ethical practices. It was noted in the COP26 Briefing Paper for the House of Commons, it was noted that, In 2021, the IPCC (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change) released their report that comes once every seven years focusing (making the 2021 report their sixth assessment) and it warned that:

“Many of the changes observed in the climate are unprecedented in thousands, if not hundreds of thousands of years, and some of the changes are already set in motion – such as continued sea level rise – are irreversible over hundreds to thousand of years.”

But what can entrepreneurs do to reduce their impact? And how can entrepreneurs inspire their pre-existing organisations to make a change?

Join this roundtable with the Environmental Alliance Project’s founder/director, Stuart Evans, where we will be discussing the role entrepreneurship and innovation has in working towards a more sustainable and green society.
