Global entrepenuership week in our school

First activity- November 13th - „Moja poduzetnička priča CROCCANTINO“ – poduzetnica Marija Antunović 

This year, we started the week with a very inspiring and interesting entrepreneurial story. Marija Antunović, the proud owner, entrepreneur, and creative mind behind the CROCCANTINO brand, presented her entrepreneurial idea online via video call to students in the third and fourth grades specializing in commerce.

Croccantino ice cream is a traditionally handmade sweet from the Pelješac region, bearing the label of quality "Croatian Island Product." Croccantino ice cream was awarded the title of the best in the well-known Startaj Hrvatska project in 2022. It is a successful media project initiated by SPAR and Nova TV. The project was launched to help innovative Croatian entrepreneurs and startups promote their products on the shelves of a large retail chain, SPAR Croatia.

At the end of today's pleasant gathering, after answering students' questions, Mrs. Marija shared some advice with them.

Second activity- November 14th - „MJERE ZA SVE“ – HZZ; „PODUZETNIŠTVO, JE LI TO ZA MENE?“

Representatives from the Croatian Employment Service in Slavonski Brod and Nova Gradiška gave lectures on the topic: "Measure for All and Entrepreneurship, Is It for Me?"

Graduating students and third-grade students specializing in commerce were acquainted with the measures offered by the Croatian Employment Service (HZZ), with a focus on support for self-employment and support for green/digital self-employment. The conditions and criteria to be met when applying for support were highlighted. Students had the opportunity to learn about the activities supported by HZZ with the maximum amount, how to better prepare a business plan, how to achieve the maximum number of points when evaluating a business plan, and where to seek help and advice in preparing and meeting the conditions for approval of support.

In the second part of today's session, students, in a conversation with HZZ representative Anita Blajer, analyzed the questions that everyone deciding to venture into entrepreneurship needs to answer, how to deal with risk and uncertainty, and the desirable qualities for an entrepreneur.

The importance of lifelong learning and continuous improvement is essential for anyone who wants to adapt to changes, and HZZ also provides an opportunity for this through EDUCATION VOUCHERS. The voucher represents a financial instrument for the allocation of public funds for adult education. The user chooses the educational program and provider. The cost of the approved voucher is paid directly to the chosen education service provider. Vouchers can be used by all unemployed and employed individuals aged 15 and older, providing them with the opportunity to acquire the necessary skills for career development, employment, or job retention.

Third activity- November 15th - ''Moj prvi posao''- učenički servis.

Fourth activity- November 16th- Predstavljanje vježbeničkih tvrtki škole

Presentation of the school's practice companies. Students in the 3rd and 4th grades of the Commerce program present their practice companies and the products or services they offer. Second-grade students in the Computer Science Technician program - optional classes.
