Global Entrepreneurship Week UK: Opening Keynote

The University of Winchester Enterprise Futures service is excited to welcome you to Global Entrepreneurship Week this year with a wide programme of events ranging from guest talks to film nights.

In this welcome talk:

  • We shall be joined with live music from, graduate, Issy Sommers
  • A special welcome from Sam Jones, Assistant Vice-Chancellor
  • A keynote talk from the Enterprise Officer taking a look at 'The Importance of Entrepreneurship in a Post-COVID World'

This session is going to be filmed and photography is going to be taken throughout. If you do not wish to be in any filming or photography, please email josh.armstrong@winchester.ac.uk and speak to the front desk on arrival. The photography and filming will be used for marketing purposes in line with the University of Winchester Data Protection Policy which you can access here.

We ask that in-person attendees Lateral Flow Test for COVID-19 within 24 hours of the event and that in-person attendees check-in via the NHS COVID-19 App. We are asking visitors, students and staff to wear masks whilst moving around indoors on our campus but we do recognise that it is down to the personal choice to the individual.

Parking is first come first serve and is available outside the University of Winchester Business School building from 4pm. We cannot guarantee parking upon arrival. There is a Park and Ride further up Romsey Road this operated by the City Council and the local bus service - you can find more information here.
