How to be an Entrepreneur

Throughout the day we will hold two free, live webinars to give young people insight into what it means to be an entrepreneur. During these sessions, relatable role models will speak about what their entrepreneurship journey has been, the opportunities they took advantage of and the pathways they took to get to where they are today. These sessions aim to give confidence to young people to start their own business, raise their aspirations and instill self belief.

9:30am: I’m an Eco-Entrepreneur

Could you help change the world? There are lots of big problems that need to be solved to save the planet and entrepreneurs are at the cutting edge of innovation in this sector. This webinar will give students the opportunity to meet role models who have taken up this challenge but with a clear business focus. This is a great opportunity for young people to learn from our role models what it means to be an eco-entrepreneur; how they became an entrepreneur, what they do on a daily basis, and how to get there!

1430pm: I’m a Tech Entrepreneur

As tech & the online world continues to grow there are constant opportunities to change the way we do things. A tech entrepreneur sees the opportunity and creates products and services that can impact every aspect of life. But how do you become an entrepreneur in tech? This event will give students the chance to meet people who are successfully on this journey. This is a great opportunity for young people to learn about what it means to be an entrepreneur in the tech/digital sectors; how to become an entrepreneur, what they do on a daily basis, and how to get there!
