The webinar aims to explore key characteristics of indigenous economies from both theoretical and practical perspectives. The event will feature a panel discussion with two distinguished experts: Dr. Jason Mika, Associate Professor at the University of Waikato, and Adele Peek, Co-Founder of the Cultural Intelligence Project in Broome, Western Australia. Together, they will provide valuable insights into the unique nature of Indigenous economies, their significance, and the challenges they currently face.

Overall, the webinar aims to create a platform for meaningful dialogue, knowledge-sharing, and collaboration among participants interested in understanding and supporting Indigenous economies. The webinar seeks to cultivate a deeper understanding of Indigenous economies and their potential for entrepreneurial growth. Indigenous wisdom and knowledge has much to teach us in the space of entrepreneurship.This kōrero provides space in which to explore the edges of these knowledge baskets and continues building out the conceptual architecture and frameworks upon which a new generation of indigenous entrepreneurs can bring forward value into the world.
