This year, TKK PENABUR Bekasi Agus Salim had the opportunity to participate in Global Entrepreneurship Week, culminating in the BA-Xo (Bekasi Agus Salim Expo). Children were invited to create innovative products aligned with their respective learning subthemes. For the KBB level, the theme was "Camping with Family," for TK A, it was "My Job, My Adventure," and for TK B, it was "Small Hands, Big Heart."
In this event, parents were given the opportunity to ask every child questions individually at their respective stations, using HOTS (Higher Order Thinking Skills) and the 5W1H method to inquire about the products that children had created.
The series of events kicked off with TK A on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, with the subtheme "My Job, My Adventure." Children, dressed in costumes representing their desired professions, confidently explained to the parents the tools they had created for their chosen careers. Parents showed their appreciation by giving stickers and expressing that the tools would be useful for the children's future professions.
On Thursday, November 21, 2024, children from the KBB level showcased fun family activities through the subtheme "Camping with Family." They shared with their parents the camping equipment they had made, such as pots, lamps, balls, glasses, and more. The activities continued with fishing and spreading the jam on a bread together as a family.
The series of events concluded with TK B on Friday, November 22, 2024, under the subtheme "Small Hands, Big Heart." Children were encouraged to develop empathy and care for their disabled friends by creating assistive devices. They explained the futuristic features of their glasses, wheelchairs, canes, cars, and hearing aids. Parents also expressed their appreciation with stickers.
The Global Entrepreneurship Week event proved to be a valuable experience for teachers, children, and parents alike. This activity has fostered an entrepreneurial spirit among the students of TKK PENABUR Bekasi Agus Salim, cultivating qualities such as creativity, innovation, resilience, and problem-solving.
