LatAm Innovation

The Leaders in Innovation Fellowships Programme (LIF) brings together the emerging leaders in the global innovation community, providing them with access to high-quality skills training focused on commercialisation, a network of peers in their own country, the UK and around the world, and a rich and varied experience with immediate and long-term benefits for their innovations.

The programme welcomes individuals with an interest in entrepreneurship and have an engineering based innovation that has the potential to contribute to the social and economic development of their country.

The two-week residential training is highly tailored to each participant’s unique goals and challenges. There is an emphasis on reaching a balance between technical and business skills development, and also developing participants' 'soft' skills like confidence, communication, resilience and leadership.

At the end of the two-week course, a final pitch day allows participants to showcase their innovations and progress in front of a panel of external judges. The event will also be live streamed. Participating in this round are representatives from Brazil, Colombia, Mexico and Peru.
