ABOUT CLAIRE BREHENY

Claire is an IA Director at Stobbs, and qualified as a UK and EU Trade Mark Attorney in 2012. Previously, Claire has worked at Boult Wade Tennant (2007-2009) and IPulse (2009-2013) and has been with Stobbs since inception in March 2013.  Claire specialises in managing expansive global portfolios for large UK based direct clients, and managing European work for US based clients. As part of her role, she provides advice on management and organisation of her client’s portfolios, and development of IP strategies which work alongside the commercial needs of the business (both from a filing and enforcement perspective).  Claire is experienced in searching, clearing, protecting and enforcement work (including some litigation) in a wide range of jurisdictions globally, with particular experience of managing complex disputes and settlements across a number of jurisdictions.

Claire began her career in sales management for a major department store chain, after joining their graduate training scheme.  It was here that she developed her interest in trade marks and an appreciation of the importance of branding, and this experience gave her a good footing for her practical and commercially driven advice that she provides to her clients.
