#GEW2024 Launch Event

The Official Launch Event marks the grand opening of Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) 2024 in Namibia—a week dedicated to fostering entrepreneurship, innovation, and community within the startup ecosystem. This event is an exciting gathering of entrepreneurs, ecosystem builders, investors, and thought leaders who are shaping the future of business and technology in Namibia and beyond.

The evening will begin with welcoming remarks and a brief presentation about the significance of GEW, setting the stage for the activities and opportunities that lie ahead. This will be followed by a keynote speech from our sponsor, Veranus Shinyembah, SME Head of FNB Namibia, who will share insights on the importance of supporting and empowering local entrepreneurs.

We are honoured to also feature a representative from GEN Namibia (Global Entrepreneurship Network), who will provide an overview of the broader entrepreneurial ecosystem and Namibia's role within it. This launch event will culminate in a symbolic ribbon-cutting ceremony, signifying the beginning of an inspiring week filled with networking, learning, and growth.
