Entrepreneurship is the economic equaliser for many disadvantaged people. Startups and scale ups got together at the International University of Management (IUM), in Windhoek Namibia on 21 august 2018, where they shared their stories of innovation, challenges and celebrations. The message throughout was as much as the world out there is challenging, one should not give up on your dreams, neither should you expect things to happen on its own, but you have work hard and smart on it, to make it happen for yoruself.
The one entrepreneur, Luis Munana, who represented Namibia in the Big Brother Africa house, was part of the round table leaders,. One of the main speakers did not turn up anymore and he was mooved to become one of the main speakers. The IUM students were exilirated to have him in the house.
Michael Amushelelo, contoversal entrepreneur, who never let go of any opportunity to be share his story had the students hang on to his table, and it was difficult for the moderators to give other students the opportunity to talk to him. Success was the password at the gathering, but the most exciting part was that the students wanted more of suuch interactions with entrepreneurs.
