Creating Value: Entrepreneurial Careers in Finance

Working with finance entrepreneurs and professionals, students will explore alternative career pathways across areas such as financial consultancy, fintech, investment, financial education and digital services.

Through an interactive Venture Sprint, students will identify a customer need and develop a finance focused business concept, considering the value proposition, target market and potential revenue model before pitching their idea.

The session connects disciplinary knowledge with enterprise, helping students recognise how their existing skills can be used to identify opportunities, create value and develop entrepreneurial and intrapreneurial career pathways.
