Because The World Needs What You Build. What You Build Matters

The second Entrepreneurs Monthly Meet-up of the academic year is a special Youth Entrepreneurship Edition, taking place on the University of Liverpool campus.

As part of Global Entrepreneurship Week, the event will bring together young entrepreneurs, aspiring founders and supporters to share experiences, learn about available support, and discuss how we can help more young people succeed in business across the Liverpool City Region.

Attendees will hear first from four inspiring local young entrepreneurs

Katie Bowater | Young Entrepreneurs Club,  Alex Keyter | Generative Minds,  Khan Odita | Aerus Media and Latoya Likambi | Thrive Media.

Together, they will share their lived experiences of starting and growing their businesses, discuss their entrepreneurial journeys, the challenges they have faced, and the support that has helped them along the way.

After the speakers, there is an opportunity for your voice to be heard.

Too often, the needs and experiences of young entrepreneurs go unheard. You will have the chance to share your views on what support is needed, what could be improved, and how we can help more young people turn ideas into successful businesses.

This is a great opportunity to ask questions, take part in the discussion and contribute with your own insights.

Why take the time to take part?
The session will provide practical insights for anyone interested in entrepreneurship, with the opportunity to:

  • Learn about the practicalities of starting and growing a business
  • Gain insights into youth entrepreneurship and the struggles of young entrepreneurs
  • Understand the importance of helping and supporting young people to be entrepreneurial
  • Hear the first-hand experiences of young entrepreneurs
  • Ask questions and participate in discussion with the speakers and the audience
  • Networking opportunities - dedicated time for informal networking with fellow students, graduates and entrepreneurs. This is a fantastic opportunity to build your network, learn from real-world experiences, and be part of Liverpool's vibrant entrepreneurial community.

Light refreshments provided.

This event is organised as part of a series of 3 events within Global Entrepreneurship Week 2026, seeking to support youth entrepreneurs in the Liverpool City Region. Thank you to the partners;
