TMUC Gujranwala organised a two-day event during the Global Entrepreneurship Week 2016 on 15-16 November 2016. As the theme of this year's event was ‘Creating Opportunities For Young Talent’, the events consisted of activities that would be especially appealing to youngsters: The events were National Wall Graffiti Competition and Fashion Parade.
National Wall Graffiti Competition was an overwhelmingly positive response from Pakistani youngsters. 75 four-member teams from all over Pakistan were registered for the competition. The participants were given the theme of "Truck Art and Calligraphy". Mr Arsha, a famous landscape painter, and Mr Ashraf Heera, an internationally renowned calligrapher were invited to judge the event, whereas Mr Shah Muhammad, a young Entrepreneur and ACCA Member was invited as a speaker to inspire the youngsters with his success story.
On the second day, a Fashion Parade followed by Musical Evening was organized by TMUC Gujranwala. In preparation, auditions had been held on 26th October with over 70 participants displayed their talents at these auditions. Mr Bilawal Ali, a professional model, and Mr Faisal Riaz, a professional singer, judged the calibre of the participants and selected 5 singers and 4 models for training sessions. In the Fashion Parade, three designers showcased their creations: Shazia Jalal, Malik Silkand Saikaal. Giti Ara appearance proved to be a show-stopper. Afterwards, the chosen singers entertained the audience of 600 with their electrifying performances.
