Hyderabad, 14th Nov — Global Entrepreneurship Week 2023 began with resounding success, leaving a lasting impact on the entrepreneurial landscape. The occasion, marked by thousands of events and competitions worldwide, inspired millions to engage in entrepreneurial activity, connecting them to potential collaborators, mentors, and investors.
In its 16th year, Global Entrepreneurship Week expanded its reach to 200 countries, playing a pivotal role in building and strengthening entrepreneurial ecosystems across the globe.
This year, the National Incubation Center Hyderabad, a Ministry of Information Technology & Telecom and Ignite-funded facility, is celebrating Global Entrepreneurship Week for the second time in Hyderabad. National Incubation Center Hyderabad is the sixth facility of its kind in Pakistan, the center, run by PTCL and LMKT, catalyzes Sindh and Pakistan's economic development. The celebration of GEW2023 at NIC Hyderabad started on the 13th of November and will continue till the 17th of November.
Day 1 Highlights:
The week began with the grand Opening Ceremony of GEW2023 by the NIC Hyderabad Team and the Project Director, Syed Azfar Hussain. The start-ups and partners of NIC Hyderabad also took the stage to praise the initiative of bringing the entrepreneurship ecosystem under one roof. The ceremony was followed by the inauguration of the "Digital Transformation of Sindh" Program, further followed by engaging workshops on essential entrepreneurial skills such as crafting Business Model Canvas. One of the highlights was a thought-provoking panel discussion on "Pathways to Belonging in the Start-up Ecosystem. The discussion explored themes of Accessibility, Inclusivity, and Mental Health Equity, featuring esteemed doctors and start-up founders sharing valuable insights.
