Karachi, Pakistan – November 16, 2025 – The Global Entrepreneurship Network Pakistan (GEN Pakistan) and the Institute of Business Management (IoBM) Shahjehan S Karim Incubation Center proudly announce the signing of a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). This collaboration signifies a powerful, human focused commitment to empowering the next wave of founders and strengthening the entrepreneurial landscape across the nation.
The MoU was formally signed on November 12, 2025, strategically positioning the organizations to launch major collaborative initiatives leading into the Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) 2025.

This partnership is founded on a unified vision to move beyond transactional support, focusing instead on nurturing the potential within individuals. By combining the global insights and vast network of GEN Pakistan with the academic rigor and dedicated mentorship of IoBM, the collaboration seeks to build a truly sustainable and supportive ecosystem.

Mentorship Programs: Pairing IoBM's emerging startups with GEN Pakistan's global pool of expert mentors.
Joint Events: Co-hosting workshops, seminars, and pitch competitions, culminating in major events during GEW 2025.
Knowledge Sharing: Exchanging best practices in incubation management, startup scaling, and access to international markets.

The agreement was signed by Professor Tariq Rahim Soomro PhD, SMIEEE, Rector of IoBM, with Mr. Raza Abbas, Head of the Shahjehan S Karim Incubation Center serving as the focal person. Representing GEN Pakistan was Engr. Syed Rizwan Ali, who also serves as an Assistant Professor and Head of the Business Incubation Center at Bahria University Karachi Campus (BUKC).
