To kick off the week, the country prepared a free workshop that was developed into a few sessions at Fundacion Paraguaya's Entrepreneur Education Center. The workshop went through important topics regarding "skills for success" aiming to direct and help young people succeed on their way toward first time job opportunities.

Paraguay is also the host of the IYLA- International Young Leaders Assembly, and has already signed up 950 young people to assist to the event that will take place on November 20 at the Conmebol Convention Center. The International Young Leaders Assembly (IYLA), is a premiere leadership practicum that addresses the global challenges of the 21st century, with student leaders and young professionals from around the world.

GEW will spread throughout the country with entrepreneurship forums, workshops and fairs in 28 different cities, such as Carapeguá, Itá, San Lorenzo, Paraguarí and Encarnación-- cities where Fundacion Paraguaya has offices in. This will be an important opportunity for the many people that live around the countryside, and would like to be a part of this huge global celebration.

In honor of recognizing women in entrepreneurship the country held a woman's discussion workshop, where entrepreneur females got together for a daylong of sharing, learning, discussing and planning new strategies for their small businesses.

Children have also been included in GEW Paraguay’s festivities. The Aema Awards was an event where children were awarded for being dedicated leaders during AEMA (an entrepreneur education program that focuses on sustainability) throughout the year.

To end GEW, Paraguay has an elegant night planned with their Entrepreneur's Gala that will gather over 1,000 people in the Paraguayan Central Bank's Grand Theatre. This will be the biggest entrepreneurship event in Paraguay, where Fundacion Paraguaya recognizes and awards outstanding young entrepreneurs and projects developed throughout the year. High political authorities, like the Paraguayan president, are invited to this event, as well as important industry, commerce, education and business figures; that will be there to show their support to the cause.
