A Pint of Town Square - It is Rocket Science!

We know Wrexham is an amazing place, with an amazing community. We at Town Square want to harness this and get inspiring people together to talk about the things they're passionate about to help create and grow ideas. This event is open to anyone, regardless of what stage of enterprise you are at; you may want to make connections with like minded people, you may be bursting with pride and want to share the awesome things that you do. Great! We want to hear it. Each meeting will have a guest speaker to kick things off, but we will leave it to you to take the discussion to wherever you want.

We're incredibly proud to introduce our first guest speaker, Wrexham-based freelancer, Mike Corcoran. Mike will share his own journey, from a physics mad kid, to a life dedicated to ‘explaining stuff’, delivering creative and educational projects with organisations all around the world. Mike will discuss how, no matter what they are, there is always a way to turn your own unique skills, passions and interests into a business that can make you, and lots of other people very happy.

Mike is passionate about the development of people and places, and helping individuals and organisations to achieve their goals and maximise their potential. Born and raised in North East Wales, and a graduate of Physics and Philosophy from Durham University, Mike works with a range of clients in the UK and around the world, specialising in effective communication, creative public engagement, the development of educational tools and training courses and the birth and growth of new business ventures. Through conferences, seminars, festivals and events, he has engaged with over 100,000 individuals of all ages and abilities.
